Changing an Attendee's Ticket Type

Ticket types dictate certain aspects of an attendee's experience. Hybrid events, for example, offer an In Person ticket, and a Virtual ticket. Some tickets may include access to a CE certificate, while others do not. Or some tickets may offer access to certain sessions in an event that others do not.

For various reasons attendees may wish to change their ticket types, and you'll need to update the attendee's ticket type to ensure they have the access to the correct session and over all experience. 

To change an attendee's ticket type, Find the attendee in the Attendee Roster and click their name to open the record. Then click Edit Info

Change the ticket type from the drop down Ticket menu and click Save

💡After updating or changing an attendee's ticket type the attendee's Dashboard will update to reflect the corresponding changes and they will receive any Email Sequences associated with their updated ticket type.

💡If your ticket types have different prices, when updating ticket types you may wish to refund or adjust the price. See Orders for more information on refunding.
