Creating Event Sessions from CFP Submissions
CE-Go's Call for Presentations (CFP) feature allows Event Organizers to solicit proposals from prospective presenters. After assessing submissions to determine appropriateness, Event Organizers can Create a Conference or Event Session using the Submission Details.
How to Create a Session
From the Submission List, click the title of the Submission you would like to use to Create a Event or Add to an existing Event.
From the Actions Menu, select Create
In the pop up window, select whether the Submission should be Added to an Existing Event or if you'd like to Create a New Event using this Submission.
Follow the prompts to add some additional information such as the date and time of the newly created Session and click Save.
On your Submission List, the Submission status will now show as Created. Click the View icon to see the Events that the Submission is associated with.
Click the name of the Event to be directed to the newly created Session in your Event.
💡After creating the Session, Presenters can submit PDFs of slide decks via their Member Account to be associated with their presentation Session.
