Creating a Call for Presentations
If you are planning a conference or collecting presentation details from a presenter, CE-Go's Call for Presentations feature allows you to create a form for prospective presenters to submit a proposal. Once proposals are submitted using the form, Event Organizers can easily create CE-Go Events using the proposal information.
Creating a Call for Presentations (CFP)
Access your CFP page by navigating to the Resources tab at the top of your screen, and click Event Planning. On the Call for Presentations tab, you can view any current CFPs or Create a new CFP. Click +Create Call for Presentations to create a new CFP form.
In the pop up page, give your CFP a name and a short description, then click Save.
Click Edit, next to the newly created CFP to customize your form.
On the Form Builder tab, you can Delete, Edit or Copy form elements by hovering your mouse over the elements and clicking the desired action.
To Add a form element, drag the desired element from the Element Menu (highlighted below) into the form.
Make sure to Save your form before navigating away from the Form Builder tab.
đŸ’¡Certain fields in your CFP form are linked to functions in a CE-Go Event. For this reason, we do not recommend editing or deleting the following fields in a CFP form:
- Presentation Title
- Abstract
- Content Level
- Timed Agenda
- Learning Objectives
- Content References
Customizing Presenter Basic Info Settings
In addition to submitting proposal details, prospective presenters will also need to enter their basic information. By default, presenters will be invited to submit the following information:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- Full name with credentials
- Phone Number
- Bio
- Headshot
You can customize what additional information you would like your presenters to supply and whether or not you would like them to add co-presenters to the submission by navigating to the Settings tab, then the Basic Info sub-tab.
Sharing your CFP
Once your CFP form is ready for use, you can invite your prospective presenters to submit proposals by sharing your CFP link with them. You can find your link and set an expiration date for your CFP form on the Share tab.
You can also copy the CFP link to share with others from the Call for Presentations tab.
Prospective Presenters Submit Proposals
Share your CFP link wherever you anticipate prospective presenters finding it, like on your website, in an email, or on social media. When prospective presenters click the link, they'll be directed to create or sign into their Member Account, and then enter their Basic Info, and Submission Details.
See Submitting Proposals for Consideration for more information on how prospective presenters can use the CFP link to submit a proposal.
