Enabling Review for Call for Presentations

If you are hosting a conference and soliciting proposals using the Call for Presentations feature, you may want to enable an Internal Review. An Internal Review allows you to create a review questionnaire, add your proposal reviewers to CE-Go, and assign reviewers to review the Call for Presentations Submissions.

Enable Internal Review

Click Edit next to the Call for Presentations (CFP) form, for which you'd like to enable the review.

From the Settings tab, click on the Internal Review sub-tab, and enable the Internal Review.

Select Review Type

Select one of the two types of Reviews that can be enabled: 

If Thumbs review is enabled, reviewers assigned to complete the proposal review will be able to vote on the proposal with a simple "thumbs up" or "thumbs down", and leave a comment for the Event Organizers to view.

If Scale review is enabled, Event Organizers can create questions or statements, which reviewers can answer according to a scale with a minimum and maximum value. Reviewers can also leave comments for the Event Organizers to view.

Reviewer Emails

When a reviewer is assigned to complete a review of a CFP submission, they will receive an automated email with access to their Member Account, where they can complete the review. On the Internal Review sub-tab, you can customize the emails notifications to reviewers.

Adding Reviewers

In order to assign reviewers to review session, you'll need to add those reviewers as Event Planners. On the Event Planners tab, click +Add Planner and follow the prompts to enter the name and email address of your planner.

Assign Reviewers to Submissions

With your Internal Review enabled, and your reviewers added to your account, you can now assign reviewers to review CFP submissions. On the Call for Presentations tab, click View Submissions to see a list of your CFP submissions.

Click on the title of the Submission you wish to assign a reviewer:

From the Actions menu, select Manage Reviewer(s):

From the drop down menu, select the Reviewer you'd like to add and click +Add Reviewer. If the reviewer should not have access to any biographical data of the prospective presenter, enable Blind Review. Click Save to finish.

The added Reviewer will receive an automated email prompting them to log into their Member Account and complete their review.
